I've got a motor and tranny from my swap left over, Here's the specs:

Type: Aluminum-Alloy In-Line 4
Displacement (cc) 2156
Horsepower@rpm (SAE net, MT/AT) 135@5200
Torque (lb.ft. @ rpm) 142@4000
Compression Ratio 8.8:1 (hmm.. turbo?)
Valve Train: SOHC 16-Valve
125,000 KM / 75000Mi

5 speed tranny with good newer clutch (so I was told by the previous owner, she had no recipts but it works good)

Comes with:
distributor in great condition
intake and exhaust manifolds with downpipe
throttle body
axles to use for cores
ECU
all sensors
starter
alternator
A/C compressor (if needed)
side mounts (I'm using the front and rear ones :) )
*no wiring harness* because I used it for my H22A

It's in perfect running condition, most Honda's burn a bit of oil (like my H22a does :madred: ) but this one never did need any oil (other than changes of course) in the whole time I ran it.
It's a great replacement for a blown up Accord or Prelude to get the car back on the road, or you could ghetto-swap it into a civic if you're in need of a motor by using an H22A mount kit as an F22A, H22A and H23A all use the same mounts.

OR

I'd also be interested if anyone knew of a 92-96 Civic hatch (or coupe , or a 92-96 prelude, or a 90-92 Accord) that was either a rolling shell (no motor) or had a blown d15 or something.. I'd like it for a winter car and I'll just put the F22A into that.. I think this motor would be kinda fun as it's not as heavy as an H22A (40-50 lbs less) but can be made to have some good torque (like 170's with more compression and headwork)

Anyway I'm rambling.. questions? Know of a car?? post em here or kevie88 @ hotmail.com e-mail or MSN (without the spaces)

****revised price*****
I'd like to get around $500 Canadian for everything.. Somebody needs this!!! Make me an offer!!

I dunno if it would be worth it for you guys.. you already make 100ish horsepower don't you? I guess it would be a pretty big torque jump..
It's the exact same as putting in an H22A into a Civic except you don't have to do as much wiring.

Comes with everything except an engine wiring harness, it's all listed in the first post...
I'm sorry but I don't have the info on how much it would cost to swap into a civic, I would suggest using google or another search engine and try to find some info on h22a swaps (it would be the same install minus wiring the Vtec solenoid, pressure switch ect.. I think you would need to convert from OBD2 to OBD1 as well.

Like I was saying I'm not sure this swap would be worth it for you, you'd probably be into it for 2k by the time you were done with all the needed parts like mounts, axles OBD wiring harness ect.

I need to know if I would have the hood clearance, the bad thing about that motor is the lack of performance upgrades...kinda interested though because im obd1 :)

dont bother, its not an easy swap into your civic. Save up and go b18 or b16. It will be cheaper in the long run.

I was going to engage in the re-building myself, but 55+ hours/week work will kill my free time

...for drinking and stuff.

Glad to hear it's still working great! Did you have a chance to get the ball joints/ wheel bearings looked at? I was kinda worried about those..
