Hey guys,

So basically next year i am doing the last year of my undergrad, i may need another year or so to finish my degree :poosie:

So i am looking for a decent car, i am also working this summer so i can help pay for the car, but basically my dad will be fronting initial costs .

Looking to spend about 10K maybe a bit more..

A few cars i have my eyes on..

Nissan Altima 2002- or after, i can probably grab one for 9-11,000. I know its more of a family car, but this car will probably become our family second car in a few years when the lease on our minivan runs out..!

Next. Pontiac G5, not a bad car looking for used too can grab a 2007 for like 9-11,000 also would have balance of warranty left, decent car!

I really don't want to spend more than 10K, as we will probably be getting third party insurance so i can afford it all ;)

Thanks for the input

You know what though, I think Hyundai is headed in the right direction. Will they ever shake off that "cheap Korean brand name" title they've worked up?

No.

thats a great deal imo. If i have a daughter who's entering university that's what I would get for her.

10K for a new car, 5 year-warranty (enough to last till she graduates, consider young females cant drive/drives the car to shit).:banghead: Then she can do whatever the hell she wants with it when she's done.

but if you are a guy, i dont think thats a car you want to drive... lol

but then again, the G5 is a pos. Get the accent if you want a G5. Warranty on a brand new Hyundai > old G5 that drives like shit

i'd go for the altima..its an all in one package. power, luxury, quality. it mite be a bit a more than the 10g accent but IMO it would be a better choice:thumbsup:

Take awhile as in, forever, or take awhile as in sometime in the near future.

Look at the image that muscle cars worked up from the 60's and 70's; tonnes of power, can't go around corners. People still have this expectation of American vehicles despite there being some cars that actually can go around corners. Images like this don't get lost easily.
