Red Pixels over black... GPU or Ram?

My New (:cry: ) PC is giving me shit.... been freezing up randomly, wont run COD4 without freezing every 5 minutes, and generally running like ass. Specs are as follows.

Antec Truepower Trio 650W Power Supply

One of the sticks of Ram is shit, only works half the time. I am thinking its the other stick thats giving me trouble? Anyways, Whenever I view a dark black on the screen, red pixels start to form on it. And they sort of... drag. Like as you can see below, I "shook the window" back and forth and they "scratched". Could this be GPU? I'd hate to RMA my new vid card... already ordered new ram. Thoughts? And yes, it has latest drivers.

I would wait until the new ram arrives until you try to decide if you still have a problem with the gpu...

How is the temperature situation in your case? these new cards create alot of heat have you cleaned out the fans on both video card and the cpu recently? give that a try...I had a huge problem like you described after I would play a game for 15 to 30 min I tried those cans of compressed air and it helped a bit but I finally gave up and unmounted the motherboard and took it out to the garage and used my air compressor (just be careful, drain the tank as it can blow water and oil) but I was desperate to play COD4 and followed it up with a good cleaning.

Case is an Antec Nine Hundred... has 3 fans, and a whopping 200 mm fan on top, this thing gets plenty of airflow, I've monitored the temperatures, under load, and yeah they are fine. If the ram doesn't fix it, I guess I'll RMA the vid card. I just want to pwn noobs :cry: .....
