I know of a friend of a friend (slimy fucker that I hate) that apparently curbs cars (mostly write-off repairs and airbag deployments from what I've heard). He'll post ads like this one for a ridiculously low priced just car (under the pretense of needing to sell due to a move, school, etc) which are fake so he can just get a lot of phone calls and try to unload his pieces of junk on people too naive to run a carfax or get their mechanic to look at his cars. I don't think he is smart enough to use the internet though, so this probably isn't one of his...

If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.

as soon as you see no phone number in the body of the ad you know someones upto no good. On the other hand though what if the guy with the civic forgot to put the 1 infront to make it $12,900 which would be about right... just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt on this one. The ferrari was an obvious scam though
