Nothing has been updated on the BMW.ca website. Haven't heard back from sales either but extremely curious if anyone has tried negotiating on these cars yet? Wait times? I'm looking at the 135i. I think it's a steal at $41,700. I'll be leasing so I'm more concerned about the residual and interest rate.

60% residual and <5% lease rate and I'm sold.

It starts at $41,700 but close to $50K is more realistic once you option it up. Still a pretty good deal even if the car looks a bit stubby.

135i is the same engine as the 335i so the Vishnu procede should just plug right in? :burnout:

Active already has the new xede piggyback for the 135. Probably the same thing with small tweaks.

How much does the 1 series start at? Not the 135. But the 128 or the cheapest model?

Doesn't $41700 include the M-body kit and M-wheels? If you take it like that, the car would end up being around $45k out the door. It's a smoking deal.

Lease rate is 7.75%! haha looks like I'll have to wait 6months to a year and hopefully BMW will lower their rates to 3.9% like the rest of the 3 series line :D

335 is cheaper to lease :D

Some one I know priced one out for me, and also I went go price one out myself, and it's too expensive. Top model is like $56 G and change without freight and PDI and at such a high interest rate, like stated.

Might as well throw in an extra couple grand into the price and get a 335i with a few less options and yes, gpomp is right, a 335i will only be 3.9% for a 36 month lease. Best bang for your buck if you compare the 1 and 3. I'm thinking I'll grab a 3 with a Dinan re-flash :D haha.

Their cool and all but I still think they look ugly... I rather wait and save my money for the new M3!

when you save enough money for that m3, save up for the m6

Considered it for about 10 seconds before the price was posted. Every asshole who can float the car payments is going to be flogging the BMW badge like they are the king shit of car design. BMW already has a strong image as being a pompous asshole car and the 1 series is only going to further that image.

i dont really like the 1 series. The m package looks ok but again it looks quite stubby. Decent price but kinda looks like a girl car especially the cab.

Ouch talk 'bout kickin' a homie when he's down haha, as for the 1-series, I agree with Jordan on throwing in a few more g's to get the 335i instead. Or I'll just wait for the 4dr M to get here:thumbsup:

I've been following the 1er for quite some time. All the reviews rave about how nice it drives and I think it looks absolutely stunning in Sedona Red and Crimson Red. The minuses are obvious: not AWD (I'm cross shopping with the STI here) and the douchebag image associated with the car.

If the car really drives as nice as the magazines say they do, I might forget about those issues and go for it. I'm just waiting for the roads to warm up a bit more before I go try out a 135. Looking at the options list over and over again too, I really can't find much I want to put on the car over base. The 135 already has the sport suspension and body kit..I think all I'd really want are the sport seats. It will still end up being around the same price as an STI.

And as for the 335 only being a few K more...well that's true, but it comes down to what you're shopping for. If you're shopping for a bigger car, more baller status, and a more cruising oriented car, then yeah, the 335 is undoubtedly a better deal. If you want a smaller car (a la E30) that is faster, handles better, and offers a more rewarding driving experience, then the 135 is the better deal. I'm young, I don't care much for the baller image, and I'm not a real estate agent driving clients around. I'm just a jackass behind the wheel that likes to zip around and enjoy driving all the time. The 135 makes more sense for someone like me. It's a bonus that it costs less. :D

Everybody is forgetting how bloated the 3 series has become. They're trying to slim the car while still providing the same engine options, and they succeeded. The 135 is going to drive like an E30 M3 on steroids which is exactly what they were aiming for. All the reviews point to a fun car that loses the fat of the 3 series without the price tag or everyday-driving uselessness of the M-Roadies and Z's.

If you want a 335, go for it, but the whole point is it's a different kind of car from the 135. I don't know if it's a valid comparison between the two.

Kinda OT, but what's with the Audi S5's striking resemblalnce to the 335i??

^ I don't know, but I got to sit in the S5 at the car show and I'd be willing to part with a kidney for one

I hope that no one here would settle for an inferior car just because they think someone might call them a douchebag because of what they drive :banghead:

In the real world most bmw owners are very modest and down to earth. A few idiots online give them a bad rep and everyone with a jap car then likes to constantly talk shit about them because for whatever reason it makes them feel better about themselves.

^ They know that, we know that, it's just the hot button right now. It'll pass, so don't mess yourself up over it :)
