I need to have my A/C compressor discharged (after doing an engine swap) so I can remove it. I'm not 100% sure who can do it, and what the cost is?

Check with phuqu at Screamin he uses a mobile guy that'll come to your place and do it for you.

Any AC shop will have a recovery tank. If you're re-installing the compressor after the engine swap, you'll need an AC shop anyway for the re-charge...

Rumor has it you can drain it into the atmosphere yourself if you don't get caught.

At least on my car there's a small valve in one of the AC lines, very similar to a tire air valve. Just push the pin in with a screwdriver and release all that environmentally friendly gas.

lol haha. Yeah I need it off ASAP cause it's just hanging there by the lines, and it's tugging on the powersteering lines :( I'll give autotemp a call.

It's a moral issue more than anything. Once you unbolt any line, the gas gets released. Try not to breathe it in if you do it the ghetto way.
