AV Pre-Wire Crew

Symphonic Residential Systems is looking for 2-3 guys to join our low voltage pre-wire crew. You’ll be working under our Pre-Wire Manger running LV wire for AV/Automation Systems. This is a junior position which requires no experience only a good attitude, and a set of steel toe boots. There is a lot of opportunity to move up if you want to make this a career. Starting wage is 20 an hour, with a review after three months.

Starts at 20/hr?? Wow that is pretty good..I work for the Sask government and only make that wage now. No wonder people head west. What's average wage range after one is fully trained?

We have six levels for techs. This postion is level one, a level six tech will make almost double this. You have to be able to run, install and prgram a large job (750K+) to make that kind of money.

Yup, We do lighting systems, motorized shades, HVAC/BMS, security, AV. We are not your basic hang a plasma on the wall company.

damn..im really interested..its just i cant start till may and will be on a trip in august..

wats the hours like? do u guys just goto different house to install stuff?

The Pre-Wire crew has been working 4 -10s so you have every Friday off. Until the Pre-Wires are done this postion isn't installing any gear. If there is days between jobs then you would be on an install. I don't see your timeframe being a problem, if you would like more info please email me.

Thanks for the emails guys.

All of the guys that we hired are still with us and doing very well. One thing I haven't mentioned but has been a problem is police clearance checks. You must have a CLEAN record. Also we have switched back to 5 8 hour days for the rough-ins.

We are also looking for experienced guys. Salary is based on experience and attitude .

is it like 9-5 or what?

Oh sorry, the hours are 7:30 till 4:30 with an hour lunch.
