Pictures are now up!

The sound system does not work. You need to put in a couple of AMPs or rewire the speakers directly to the deck to get it to work.

BTW, I am not looking for any trade at this time.

Thanks!

Do you know if the timing belt has been replaced? Do you still have the stock oil pump or has it been upgraded?

The car is originally imported by JDM Source. There is no problem with car. No rust. idles great. boost fine.

If you are serious about buying, yes, you can have it for a test drive.

The sticker on the time belt cover shows that the time belt has been replaced. And according to the original importer the water pump and oil pump have been replaced with N1 units too at the same time.

Sorry, I do not have the stock pump.

Did the original imorter provide you a copy of the replacement oil pump? The are R32 are known to have problems with their oil pump(engine requiring overhaul if oil pump failed). It is very important that the oil pump has been upgraded to R33, R34 or N1

I do not have a copy of replacement from the importer. I took the words from them. BTW, the car shows very good oil pressure both when the engine is cold and hot.(around 6 upon cold start up, then settle down to about 2 to 3 after driving for a while on the stock gauge)

It's actually EARLY R32 RB26 Cranks that are the problem. Very little contact with the Oil Pump. The later R32 Cranks solved this problem.

The proper fix on an early crank when doing the Oil Pump replacement is to use something like the JUN Crank Collar, replace the crank with a LATE R32 model, or an R33 crank.

I have an '89 GTR, so I am very aware of this problem.

But then again, if you are not planning on driving the car into the 8000 RPM range CONSTANTLY, you will be OK with just an N1 Oil Pump replacement.

Hope that helps and good luck with the sale.

*BUMP* for a clean GTR.

I am surprised that this car is still sitting in my garage even at this price. No one is looking for a nice clean GTR and has money by hand?

Weekend Bump!
