long weekend + crappy weather = disgruntled forum surfers.

What's everyone doing this weekend?

I suggest you sell the honda and buy a DSM. That way every weekend you will have something to fix, tweak, repair, or touch up. Why have honda reliabilty and boredom when you can have constant excitment with a DSM. You can even start a betting pool amongst your friends for when it will break down next. The winner doesn't have to pick you up when you break down on the side of the road at 3 am. Great fun!

You can come borrow our carport :) Not quite as good as a garage, but at least you don't end up soaked.

I'm making sigs for people, maybe having a party at my house 2nite, and waiting on a confirmation of getting a new DC cc 4-2-1 header for cost ($350).

I think u should really get some lowering springs first before any engine mods. Get rid of the 4x4 look.

me? if i got springs (neuspeed race) or coilovers, then I'd want to get new shocks and struts at the same time, plus I'd have to get a camber kit and installation etc. $$$

I really do want to improve the suspension though

For the track day tomorrow I:
modded the rear bumper mount to clear the exhaust pipe
took care of some loose wiring
changed oil in the tranny and engine
lubed all front suspension pivots
new radius rod bushings
shortened the stock shock collars (prelude shock knock  )
got the rear rotors turned and lubed the brake sliders
cleaned out the interior (yikes)
removed my sub box (blew up my Rockford fuses in the works.. YAY!)
arranged all my tools
charged batteries in the camera and drill
got my cooler all ready

And now I gotta go to work all night.. good thing I can sleep on Sunday nights, There's not a lot going on at work (thankfully).

I'm just hoping my kumho's are gonna hold up ok. The one's that were on the front of the car were already looking crispy after only 8 solo 2 runs or so.

Yeah, I have no idea how my tires (Proxxes FZ4) are going to do.. I'm thinking full-greaseballs in 5 laps or so..
What kind of tire pressures do people run on cars? I was thinking to up it to 40-43 to keep the sidewall flex to a minimum.. :dunno:

I was running 42-44 in my T1-S for solo 2. You'll probably want to run in the 38 to 40 range, the heat that gets into those tires can be quite insane, you'll find your pressures will be quite a bit higher than you set them by the end of a lapping session.

Whoa, where are you getting these kind of deal for those? One shop ridiculously quoted me $650 for that
