Just temporary for now till the GT-R stolen thread traffic dies down. Sorry for the inconvienence :).

damn, up to 5 web servers now handling the traffic.

Yep, survived pretty well. Last year when we got dugg with the RSX thread, we got owned by the internet. We learned our mistakes, and prepared for the next time it would happen. This time around, I only had to reboot 2 of the servers that locked up. 5 minutes for 40% of the viewers. That's it. Most viewers didn't even see a glitch.

We actually started peaking out at 20mbps today around 4pm. Pretty crazy stuff! I'm glad I'm good at my job :rofl:.

Honestly, it was very uneventful for me today. Other than deploying 3 servers first thing in the morning, I just checked in briefly here and there to make sure things were still fast. And they were.

yeh, handeled it really well, the search fof was a bit of a PITA for me, sicn ei just hit view unread posts every tiem i hit the pahe, but other than that it was smooth.

Wonder how the traffic usage spiked with that GTR incident?

Is there also a sudden spike in users registered?
