View Full Version : my omni is dead

not even on the road and it gets in an accident :(

the car was in storage, and apperantly someone smoked it in the front, bent the frame, the hood, fender, bumper, etc. found out when the car was delivered to my garage today.

apperantly the land lord of the place may replace it, and the guy who i was paying to store it said he might just give me a shelby charger, but a charger just isn't the same as an omni.

people expect to get smoked my something that says "turbo" and "shelby" all over it, no one ever suspects the omni.

i'm choked, update soon hopefully :(

Sorry to hear that man...I used to have an Omni myself.

A 1986 Omni but it wasn't a turbo Shelby version at all. Was my first car ever and I still love it. Still have the key on my keychain for my Civic!!

Ahhh.....memories in my go-kart...err....Omni

worst part is, i have almost EVERY part for the turbo 2.5 conversion, and now i have no car, even got the glh gfx, which are now kind of useless

well i guess see what kinda green you can get for the conversion and by yourself a nice car. Not that omni's arnt nice, well actually they arnt nice, just Rabbit rip-offs, but now you are forced to buy a nice car. IMO. And sorry to hear about your misfortune. It sucks when that stuff happens.

its more than a block, i have a complete 2.5 with g cast head, and believe me it will be put to good use ;) might have found another omni

took a better look at the frame, the car is absolutly focked :(

looks like the car won't be on the road till next spring, life sucks
