Long story short I took in my RB25 turbo for Alamo to have a visual inspection on it and see if they could give me some pointers on how to get it loose to clock it. I asked him if they could do it for me and he said sure, come pick it up tomorrow morning.
Get a call the next morning and apparently in the clocking process they managed to bust my turbine wheel! They don't have access to nissan turbo parts so he said to pick a new turbo and this is what i got. No charge whatsoever!
Will definetly be going there again for more service!

I have to double check on the specs but it is a Turbonetics T3/T4 hybrid.

I might be selling it, but i'm not totally sure what it's worth. John from Alamo said if you were to order this from spec it would be a $1000 turbo. I would probably sell for around $700 if that's fair. It is brand new!

well for whats its worth are turbos are very similiar i paid 1300$ for mine but i also opted for the internal wastegate and billet aluminum actuator as well i had the elbow welded onto it. The base price was 999$US though and 700$ is really quite the steal as ive had other tuners offer me more for my used one.

As for my opinion of the turbo ive been running it for about 20k kilometers now it isnt the quickest spooling turbo out there but from 3700rpm up(on a 2l) you better be holding on DSMers have been breaking into the 10s on this turbo with supporting mods at a measly 22-24psi and can only expect more from the t3/t4 hotside.

that being said GL with the sale

I have the internal wastegate as well, not sure which actuator it is, but it seems pretty heavy duty.

What are the specs? It looks like an A/R 60 with Stage 3 exhaust

If so they are around $900 new from alamo.

Thanks for the heads up, I was looking for somewhere to get my new turbo inspected before it goes in.

I was trying to get some info from them and they gave me one reply to check on details, and then never got back to me again.. They missed their chance with me.

That's too bad really, they were super helpful with all my stupid questions, and stayed late afterwork for me to come by and pick up the turbo.
