I am looking at powder coating some forged mono block aluminum wheels i have.
I am unsure of the experience local shops have in Edmonton/area so i figured i would ask prior to going around.
The wheels are brand new, never had a tire mounted on them, when we strip the current coating are we blasting the entire coating including bead seats and all?
Next kind of goes along with the prior question. should we powder coat the entire wheel inside and out or just the face and inside of wheel, but no bead seats?
Never had to powder coat a rim so i figured it can't hurt preparing myself. Google turned up little information for wheel powder coating.
