question about changing winters to summers

Hey guys
I was wondeirng if whether taking off my winters and putting on summers on the same rims would wreck the tires? or even the rim?

i spoke to the person at harpers tires and some other tire places and they said no it doesnt because they use a special machine to remove the tires

and does anybody know of any deals in Calgary that i can get this done including balancing it?

Depends who you talk to. Some people will say it will ware out the beading on the tires, but others will argue that it doesn't affect it because you would need to replace your tires before the beading starts to become defective. Winter steelies FTMFW!!
