** So the car was stolen with a freshly cut ilco key. It's been reported stolen for a whole week. So I wouldn't be taking my car to somewhere that has access to your keys, personal info, and key cutting machine. Seems like somebody needed a low profile ride to get around in. **

so, someone stole a car and crashed it in to your rickety old fence that needs replaced anyways and you're complaining about the expense?

If they catch the guy who stole it would they charge them for the fence?

Well fuck Mr. Baller why don't you give me money and pay for this?

Oh and if my brother didn't leave early this morning, they would have hit his 2001 accord. Lucky my integra was left unscathed too.

I don't know, probably not.

Shouldn't take too long to rebuild that portion of the fence though, could had been a lot worst... but why would someone steal a POS 323.

Joyride. Given the car, I'd say the owner probably left the keys in the ignition and doors unlocked hoping someone would take it off his hands.

Maybe they thought it was a 323 GTX. :dunno:

Or maybe because if they got caught, they could only be charged with theft under $500?

hahah good one. but seriously sorry to hear about your fence. no matter the cost or if it needed to be replaced an unexpected expence is always a bitch

Gah, stupid dorks. I don't care how bad the fence. In Winnipeg, some 15 year old tool stole our neighbours car, and hit our fence in 3 places. 2 nights later...BBQ missing.

Does your home insurance cover damage to the fence?

Why not?
Rickety old fence or not, it's an unexpected expense that he shouldn't have had to deal with in the first place. I certainly would be pissed if someone plowed through my back yard and making me pay to replace a fence that I clearly don't give a shit about in the first place.

if your not a baller yet dont know how to fix your fence, i hope darwins theories are correct..
he crashed it into the hinged fence, its a 3$ piece, ill buy it for you if you need...

in all seriousness, its still shitty that this happened

they stole the 323 because the police would probably think that the (insert racial/prejudice criminal profile) driving it, owns it

I had an 89 Mazda 323 as my first car... paid 300 bucks for it.

That sucks though...

That's a pain in the ass. Finances aside, who wants to waste time rebuilding a fence. I wouldn't anyway, I suck at that shit haha.

Well maybe one day I can dream of modding a EM civic and playing xbox all day...but until then
The cops told me about $400, which is probably mostly labor costs.
If I can rebuild an auto tranny, I'm pretty sure I can rebuild a fence but who has time to do that though? With work Mon. - Fri. and stuff going on Sat. & Sun. Unless of course you're baller enough to do nothing but play xbox and post whore on beyond. ;)
