We have a guy here at work, one step above my position, who was yelling at myself and another guy for various things. What he was saying was a lie and so I simply questioned him on it. Anyways the next thing is that when everybody leaves the room he comes over and starts yelling and poking me, then he took off.

He came back about 1 hour later and I simply said “I have no problem with what you said, you’re entitled to your opinion, but don’t ever touch me again.”
He then started mouthing off about how precious I was etc. (I could NEVER feel threatened by this guy) And I replied about how I simply asked him to not touch me in that manner and I don’t care WHAT he did, but he is never to touch me in anger as I draw my line at ANY negative contact etc etc.

Question is, what should I do about it, if anything?

I wish. Sad thing is the whole "at work" factor. He's been told that if he touches me again I'll HAVE to take it as a planned assault now that I've asked him not to ever touch me.

option 1 talk to the main boss, work bs shouldnt be tolerated. At my work as soon as someone gets physical they get fired. You should feel safe at work.
option 2 if you dont care about your job id say kick his ass

Your definitly entitled to rights in this situation. I would check with labor board standards but I know for a fact that any altercations such as that are not tolerated and should never escalate to that.

I would talk to management if not the owner of the company you work for first to see if the problem can be talked out, if not I would report it as that is harassment.

Depending on the company you work for you were prolly all required to sign some sort of workplace policy on how to conduct behavior. So if this person is blatantly ignoring this he is most definitly in the wrong.

Yeah, the way I see it is that there should be ZERO negative contact at work.

If you don't feel threatened by this guy, then don't bother wasting your energy at getting physical back. Sounds like he's no challenge to you, so not worth digging an extra hole for someone that stupid.

Get revenge on his work space, that's the best. Super glue on his phone, load gay porn on his comp, etc

 Or if you don't want to get fired, talk to HR about it.
