WTB: starter vehicle under $800ish

posting for a friend looking for a vehicle to learn on, hes looking at older camrys, 626's, cavaliers and such, just checking out the beyond market, nothing overly small ie: metros, swifts, 323's.. no boats, and nothing fast, auto is prefered but he'll take manual if the price is right...

There used to be a 98 Taurus on here which I checked out. It needed a tiny bit of work, but was a smokin deal and in overall excellent shape.

metro's and 323's and shit are so much fun, get it in a manual and just bomb around in it, cheap on gas and light as hell and still fits 4 people. hell in my buddy's old metro we had 4 people all over 6ft and 2 of us were over 260lbs too.
