It seems a lot of JDM owners frequent these forums.
What cars are your favorite?

My personal favorites are Impreza WRX, Skyline, Aristo, Soarer, Mark II etc..

For me it's the Z32TT. In my opinion, it's a design classic that doesn't look out of place among newer cars, I can't think of a car built in 1989 that looks as good.

Performance wise it can still hang with newer cars, and it takes very little to get 100 extra HP out of it.

I'm a huge fan of the 22B but I guess I'm mainly talking about 15 year old importable cars lol

By then I'm sure most would be sold and the ones that are still in Japan will fetch a very very high price but perhaps it would be well worth it.

I'm actually importing a JDM Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA which is a really nice in itself and it will definitely keep me happy for a long time.

That last commercial was pretty sweet, but didn't you find it irronic how the slogan at the end was "built for the human race"? When was the last time you were chased by a motorcycle, race car, and a plane?

I do like the Z32TT's, also a big fan of Soarers. However if I were to get a car from japan it would probably be one of the USDM or the EDM Mercs, something like a W140 Coupe.

The commercial was directed by Ridley Scott and aired during the Super Bowl... It got pulled after it was criticized for promoting reckless driving.

Personally I would have to say I like the FD3S and the newest gen of supras.

I also got to sit in my friends MR2 last night and I was pleased with how everything is set up. Its a pretty roomy tiny car. :)

To be honest the market of north american FD's and 300ZX's are ridiculously overpriced that even I've considered a RHD one... and I HATE RHD.

To me , skylines are always amazing cars which i respect.

I have to go with mac_82...

A Late Model (MY99) GC8 Impreza, ideally very stealth swapped with a STI SpecC Type RA-R EJ20 4 banger harnessing 315 ponies :)

Keep it shiny, not blingy... Subaru's are meant to get dirty.
I'm defining best with the criteria of maintainability, overall usable speed, daily drivability, longevity and most importantly the flight under the radar of the 5-0.

I like both cars allot, but don't exactly see where you can compare them, they are fairly different - Care to expand your logic?

I wanted a 300CE for a while with the AMG kit, they were stupid expensive over here, almost 20,000 more than the comparable SC400 (which, arguably, is a better car)
