Guys, talking to Khoalty from e46fanatics, he offered me $80 shipped for Mycarr Angel Eyes, they are exact same as Umnitza's Chromiums. Umnitza sells the exact same kit for $199.99 plus shipping. But they are made by MyCarr.

Anyways, i need 10 people to get the angel eyes for $80 each. They are 6000k.

If you want the new orion led angel eyes, they are $99 shipped in this group buy.

actually im holding off on the leds for now i think, talking to umnitza, he told me v2 is coming very soon and if he was me he would hold off for the v2 which will be much much better, so for now i might just get the ccfl and after get the v2 upgrade kit..

snowboard, you should be able to still install angel eyes on non-projectors, might take some modding, but i dont see why not.

Update:

I was speaking with the manufacturer about these Orion LED halos... but the thing is they aren't as good as you think! The reason why in the forum there it looks good is because they over exposed the picture to make it look better but in reality it's not. Because they basically look like a peral necklace with gaps in between, but just letting you guys know.

But I can get them for you guys for $85 just let me know.

Well its like a necklace, and with gaps... Yes yes I know sorry Rage2... I don't ever do commercial postings, and nor was this my idea... I just thought I'd help and save couple of bucks... and as for install... I can help but hell man I ain't touch headlights ever again...

I had 2 sets of headlights that were broken and they were a pain in the butt to take out, and install but now that I've done that process close to 8 times, 4 each side is A LOT easier.

Shipping probably takes 3 days but the supplier is closed on weekends. I can do PayPal for payments, and I'll order it first thing monday, but I'll call in to make sure they have the harness for the Orions.

As for the normal chromiums couldn't tell you. It should of been here Friday but if not mid-next week hopefully.

But I MUST warn you again... these are pearl like and has gaps in between... even though they have 30 LEDs it doesn't fill in the space enough. But hey if you guys like them then fine by me.

Yes Beung has the right pictures... see the gaps I just don't like personally.

But it's personal preference right, its entirely up to you. They are okay. but of course nothing compared to Chromiums.

I REALLY hope they have the harness for the angel eyes. Like its a very easy install too but just a pain in the butt. It makes it even easier if you remove the whole headlight! I had to do that because I had a faulty seal and moisture was getting in so I siliconed the whole thing lol...

It's very simple too! just take the trim on the front out, and unclip all the clips around your headlight, and wala! that's the easy part.

hard part is wiring it in...

I could help out if you need help... otherwise I'm all good don't need any install of anysort. OH and one word of advice use some sort of glue to hold it in place also or clear silicone which is resistant to heat and water. It'll help for sure! Don't know if you knew that already or not but yeh... takes probably 30 - 60 min to install depending on experience.

We'll use silicone so that if the lense ever needs to be popped off the housing again it can be done. That will also ensure the lenses stay nice and clean inside.:D

As fir the DRL's... It's a dealership thing... its programmed into your Bimmer to have them on. But I don't think Shenni's can trun them off but call them and ask. Cause the computer that they use to turn that off is pretty expensive and I doubt Shenni's would have it. But call them and see if their willing to do it.

Personally if it weren't illegal I'd do it.

Yeah, yellow DRLs with the 6000K Halos are not going to look good. I have been wanting to get some other stuff reprogrammed on my M3.

what da, $100? he was charing last time $50 for programming, last time i went there it was was $50 to read ses, and also $50 to code anything, like disable auto lock on 15km+.

I'm guessing he's charging more to disable drl. You guys know if carsoft is able to do this? if so i can just buy one and hook all you guys up.

From a quick look, Carsoft can change the temp indication and the auto lock.

DRLs aren't in there specifically. I guess that would be because americans don't care about that. I will send them an email. How much is carsoft... I can't find a price.

I've tried talking to them... they don't even answer me back AT ALL!

Anyways I have Carsoft 6.5 + SP1 Updates. Its just w/o the cables and interface box.

I also would not suggest buying off eBay because the interface boxes sometimes don't communicate properly with the software.

As far as disabling DRL I don't think so. I've only powered up the program once or twice to see what it can do... and DRL I don't think so. But I can send you the Carsoft files if you like?

It seems you might need GT1 to do it. That is $2.5K. haha, but with GT1, I think you can even program E9X cars.

Might be just easier to unplug the Halogen DRLs...from what I understand it doesn't give you a warning light either. But I guess then you lose your flash to pass lights then....

I was wanting to get my autolocks turned off at the same time though, I wonder if they will do both for $100?
