Holy Crap.

Just tried out a 35 lb kettle bell out at the rig here.

Just swinging it around, doing an exercise a fellow out here showed me.

25 reps and I was destroyed. Two days later my muscles were hating me, back, glutes, hams, shoulders were all feeling the pain.

Just thought I'd share :)

I think I'm going to go buy one for myself

They're great because they work out muscle groups and connectors making for stronger support for your joints.

Kettlebells are amazing! For a "little" weight, it really helps your core. I did a kettlebell session over the summer and would like to get into it again. There is a guy in Calgary that teaches kettlebell classes outside during the summer. www.irrationalfitness.com. I think his summer sessions start in May, but don't quote me on that. I'm thinking of joining once it's nicer out. Side note, the actors from the movie "300" used kettlebells when they trained.

Anybody know where I can pick some Kettle Bells up in Calgary on the cheap?

I can't remember seeing any in the stores we have in Calgary - Maybe they are special order?

Among other thing... they did train like crazy, but you do realize they were also CGI enhanced?

I'd also be interested in picking up some kettle bells. Any chance of group buy pricing through the guy you're talking about?

Hi Gang

It was mentioned to me to let you guys know about Kettlebells. I have 6,8,12,16,20,24,28,32 and 40 KGs in stock.

see http://www.m-2sport.ca/catalogue.html for prices.
note that the 28 Kg is $114.95 and we no longer take Paypal.

Prices are very reasonable for a curved handled, most are powder coated or they have an exceptional finish. Avoid shipping fees by picking them up NW Calgary not far off 16th Ave.

We offer KB introductory seminars. Next one on April 30th from 6:30-8:00 pm.

The seminar is completely hands on to provide you with the effective movement in the foundation lifts. It covers safety, linking the body, foundation lifts (swing, clean, turkish get up, press) as well as some programing direction.

I will have some Kettlebells there to sample that will be available for purchase after the event.

Hi Gang

I have obsorbed the shipping costs for the KBs to Calgary. Prices quoted on our site is what retail is in Vancouver (due to the port).

You can not beat our prices due to this reason for the quality of kettlebell (curved handle and good finish).

Feel free to contact us at www.m-2sport.ca or 862.2826 or 988.5679

thanks for your interest
