For the super lazy, or those who don't know how to operate a stove:

Our first reaction to seeing this bag of ready-to-eat, hard-boiled eggs in the grocery store was along the lines of, "That's ridiculous." In fact, that's exactly what our husband said when we put them in our basket.

Why did we buy them when we are perfectly capable of hard-boiling our own? Because to give you a full report, we needed to slice and taste a few. Could this new convenience product have a place in our kitchen?

well...ive bought hard boiled eggs from 7/11 before...haha... and i can bet lots of people will buy those...deviled eggs in 5 mins... instead of cooking eggs and waiting for them to cool before making... its just like any other premade food...hoogies,subs, hot dogs...it takes the "work" out of preparing your food...probably will be a hit for those hosts of parties since its already done for you...id probably buy them cuz i never seem to get em perfect...always cracked to shit or still runy in the middle...:dunno:

These products are for people going backcountry camping.

Restaurants buy pre-peeled hard boiled eggs in a bag to save time.

I love medium runny york

To help prevent it cracking to "shit"... you warm up the egg under increasing temp. tap water while your water is boiling... it usually cracks when your water is 90 degrees and your egg is right outta the fridge.
