3 VW's and a Civic....what a selection

I'd go for the Civic, only cause its new and cause I have loyalty to Japanese brands...

:werd: go drive a tdi, you will love the torque and fuel economy.

I don't know how reliable they are compared to the others on your list however

Okay...I am more leaning towards a TDI but I was reading last night that the 09 civic will have a diesel engine as an option. Anyone else hear about this?? The rabbit for 09 will have alot of standard safty features like ESP and more...love the look of the civic though.....

1.8T GTI if you want to mod it.

If you don't care about being fast, TDI.

2.5L is a crap engine.

Civic... nothing wrong with it, just a little boring for me.

Civics are teacher cars. Most female teachers drive civics. My wife had a gathering at our place of fellow teachers and it looked like a civic convention on our block lol.

I would choose any on the list that isn't a Honda.

Were they all SI's? The SI's are much more fun to drive and very different from the other civics. It's all personal preference, I would recommend you take them all for a test drive a couple of times.. im sure one of them is bound to win you over. I had a choice between the VW's and Honda and the look of the new civics with the k20 in them really impressed me.

I vote for the Civic EX. Regular gas, heated leather seats, plus you get the gov't of Canada rebate for fuel economy.

I assume you'll be using one of these as a Dailydriver so pick one thats reliable and half decent on gas.
