What's worked best for you guys?

I've taken:

Energize Expand -> ok
Creatine Monohydrate -> ok
PVL Tri-Creatine Loader -> shitty
Currently taking cBeta2 (pill's from GNC) -> pretty good

Allmax Nutrition Krush4 - kinda sweet tasting, worked ok

Cell-Tech - same as above

Axis Labs Creatine Ethyl Ester - better than cabr-based creatine, never got cramps or felt bloated

Dymatize Xpand - creatine/NO umm tasted disgusting

Precision Kre-Alkalyn Stack/Purple K - pretty much the same product - this one's my favorite, small doses, nice results

Ethyl Ester for me, with no taste. Mono makes me feel bloated.

Get mine from trueprotein.com or bulknutrition.com, raw sewage makes this stuff taste good. So I just take my dosage and chase it with liquid.

B.I.G. was good. CMI Nutrition I think.
ReSatur8 is what I'm taking now... it's got ethyl ester and mono. Not too bad.

They both taste like shit.

Straight pure creatine monohydrate powder.

When I use it, I put a tsp into just plain 500ml water bottle with a hint of baking soda, and a 1/4 tspoon vitamin C powder.....

^ Hmm baking Soda and vitamin C powder ehy I've never heard of that most people say grape juice or gatorade powder is the best for the insulin spike.

When I took regular monohydrate I took it with Gatorade powder, but I'm not a big fan of regular monohydrate, it didn't really work that well for me, but you can't beat the price lol.

Take it with anything that produces a big insulin spike. What works really well believe it or not are Corn flakes!

Yeah, tsp a day for a week and I am up 5 -7 pounds every time.
I don't do carbs..... or insulin spikes (I wanna keep all the hair on my head into my 50's lol).

Build fake muscle? Are you fucking stupid... you lose the water weight when you stop taking creatine, but you still have solid strength gains that will persist. You can do more reps if your creatine is working - working the muscles harder - building them more..

^^ What creatine is actually for is to boost your ATP levels so when your at the Gym you can force out that one or two extra reps that rips your muscle just a little bit more. By no means are the muscle gains fake, if you take creatine and don't go to the gym and give it your all it's not gona do shit for you.

LOL most uninformed answer ever
Creatine causes some intercellular water retention and intermuscular. The intermuscular stores of creatine acts as a buffer to hydrogen in ur muscles which causes the burn feeling. This results in a lower percieved level of exertion and will therefore allow you to put in an extra couple of reps. Of course you can jsut take creatine and lay on your ass all day and you wont retain anything at all :rolleyes:

I've used bsn's cellmass
and sum cheap ethy ester pills i got from supersotre (5 star)
Cellmass was great. Never felt bloated, added consistent weight to the bar. Only downside is the price and how it only lasted 20 days for me (40 servings. 2 on training days, 1 on off days.)

Today is actually my first day of TrueProtein's "Buzz Saw" preworkout forumula. Anyone tried??
Cant wait :clap:

I took BSN's Cell mass for about 7 months. with the off cycle and only noticed minor size changes. although the i could tell my endurance and recovery time was quickly back. ive just recentlly started on purple K, so far as ive heard its the best thing going raight now, ive noticed a size, endurance, and recovery change over the last month. just goto a nutrition specialist and ask for their advise. soon i will be taking Tribulous terrestis and ZMA with possibly anodrol. i'll let you know how that goes....zma and trib are both leagal so if they work like their suposed to the results should be great

all you need is No-xplode and protein, it acutually works very well. If you want to gain hella weight, go on my diet haha wendies at 2am or nachos at 2 am before you sleep haha, mix with a 6 pack and your good to go. I gained 40lbs over a summer with just that diet. But I did work out everyday so I don't got that gut that you maybe thinking. :thumbsup:

I've taken Pro Lab and some other brands straight monohydrate.

I just take it after my workouts in with my protein, and a scoop of dextrose from the wine/beer store

I've heard you can take it with ALA too. Its supposed to mimic insulin.

Best part about Creatine for me was the 'pump' feeling :D

I did a couple weeks on N.O. Explode and Cell Mass. Works pretty well IMO. But I find that my recent Ephedrine stack worked even better. But my goal was leaning more towards weight loss. If you're looking to get really big, the N.O. and CM are decent, but there are better products.

BSN actually makes a decent product, compared to the other crap out there, but I do agree that it is a waste of money, there is equal or better supps out there for the $$$$$

So what creatine would you guys recommend as the best? I'm very new to it and have just been taking protein. Could you guys give me some basic instructions for taking it along with protein. Also if I am to stop taking creatine after say, one bucket, would the gains in size and strength stay if I continued working out and eating proper?

edit- Just checked out the prices for creatine and damn is it cheap. I guess it doesn't really matter much which I choose.

Costco brand was the worst ever, turned me off it completly.
It's because it was the Monohydrate, just made me feel like crap, I would take it before the work out, and it made me so sick most of the time that I couln't even work out well... Did its job when I got a good work out in though. Gave me the boost to get over the hump I was on.

is it true that if you're on creatine, you increase in strength and volume but if you stop you lose some volume and keep your strength ?

ummm somewhat true, creatine requires a large amount of water to operate effectively, which over a 6-8 week cycle can cause an extra 10-15lbs of water, hence the balloon/"fatty" look you have until you get off cycle and run the water weight off in a few days... creatine merely supplies extra atp/boost for when you are repping (more weight/more reps = more strength) hence when you get off you still have the strength you built, first bit your workouts seem tougher (don't have that extra kick) but it gets adjusted quickly =)
