July 26, 2008 at McMahon.

(Rumoured) Ozzy, Metallica, Judas Priest, Testament, Kreator, 3 Inches of Blood, Hellyeah

Would be insane!!! First all the May concerts, then Maiden, and this to top it off.

I guess 3iob announced that they would be doing this the other night and read somewhere that Testament said they would be part of this at a recent show.

Also, heard that an official announcement is suppose to be coming soon (Monday maybe?).

If you got a GA ticket it is for the floor and it is standing only. Any numbers (seat number) after that are for keeping track of the number of floor tickets they sell.

I just checked, we've got GA8 tickets, so floor it is then.

Could not play where? In Calgary? Because you're wrong if that's what you think.. U2 played saddledome a few years ago..

Should be a great concert.. Lucky that I just happen to be in town for unrelated duties so this will work out well.. Anyone know if there will be booze?

The concert was sick! ozzy=sick, cavalera=sick, Preist = sick!
however I have to give a major FUCK YOU to Mcmahon stadium, it was complete bullshit. I brought a cooler full of meat, and a bbq. The plan was to watch the concert, then come and make food during a shitty band. I mean its an 8-hr event. Get there and find out NO RE-ENTRY, fuck that shit they just want to make money on food and beer, so I go in there, and the beer/food lines are both 30+ minutes long!!!!!!!!!! In total I wasted over $30 and close to 2 hrs on food&beer / waiting in line. FUCK YOU MCMAHON STADIUM, YOU CHEAP FUCKING CROOKS! :thumbsdow

Ozzy rocked, priest rocked, cavalera rocked, and I was surprised by how good hatebreed was. 3IOB were pretty good aswell although the sound quality wasn't the greatest.

That Serj guy sucked, other bands could have played longer without that idiot.

I was very disappointed that Dillinger Escape Plan could not make it. Was looking forward to seeing those guys.

As for the rest, my buddy and I came when Testament started playing, they were great, never realized Chuck Billy was that fat :D They played a great set though.

Voivod were great as well, I was hoping for more songs. Didn't care much for Hatebreed or Shadows Fall personally, can't believe Hatebreed got such a long timeslot.

Cavalera Conspiracy also amazing, closest I'll ever come to seeing old-school Sepultura. Really loved the classics, Refuse/Resist, Beneath The Remains, Arise, Dead Embryonic Cells and Morbid Visions!

I liked Serj, seeing how I like SOAD, his music is somewhat similar to them, great cover of Holiday In Cambodia too.

Needless to say Priest totally kicked ass, can't say much more than that.

We left when Ozzy started playing, since neither of us really wanted to see him.

Overall, the show was a blast, I wonder if they will bring it back next year.

As a driver for MOR, and working/organizing/running shows for the last 4 years, this was the most exhausting show i have ever done. there was 4 of us (drivers) that had to take care of EVERYONE. picking up bands, crew etc. i drove 20 hours in 2 days and im still fucking tired.

Good show tho, i watched Ozzy from the side of the stage and it rocked!

I would hope so considering Serj is the lead singer of SOAD.

Hatebreed was pretty damn good. They know how to get a crowd going. Voivod and Serj weren't very good. Serj is way too fucking out there and Voivod are just old and crusty. Ozzy rocked, Priest rocked, Cavalera Conspiracy was fucking sweet, Hatebreed was awesome .

Those were probably the only complete sets I saw. Spent the rest of the time in the goddamn EXPRESS beer lines waiting to cash in my tickets. Holy fuck I have never been in lines like that. Pissed me right off.

You probably should have said... "his music is somewhat similar to his music".

"Them" implies someone other than Serj.

I felt so bad for security, they were slipping and sliding around the pit while trying to catch crowdsurfers! theyre backs were covered in layers of foam....i thought it was funny at first, but shortly after it became a hazard!
