I believe it is illegal to drive around without a bumper. You have to have some something there even if it's just a piece of metal welded on.

You talking about the rebar? I remember a coupke of years ago I drove around for ~ 2 months without a bumper cover, got pulled over for other things and the officer didnt say anything about it

ya if you have the rebar on it is 100% legal. i drove around for about 3 months without a bumper, saw cops all the time and they never questioned it.

j/k but this driving around with no bumper trying to show off your intercooler is ridiculars, just cut the bumper to fit and be done with it:thumbsup: same goes for repairing front end collision, get it done right all at once.

i drove around for about two weeks after i threw on my fmic without a bumper or rebar, passed probably about 6 or 7 cops and didnt get pulled over or followed or anything.

Yeah, seriously my car has been off the road for 4 months now, as soon as my new headlight comes (this friday or early next week) I was thinking fuck it, I'll just drive witout a bumper until I finish sanding/painting mine. No front mount ic though so it's going to look pretty lame haha.

Knowing my luck though if it was illegal I would get pulled over and ticketed within 5 minutes of driving haha.

so people actually do this to show off an intercooler.. you cannot be serious. ... ghetto... if your car cant fit one with a bumper fit for proper air flow then think about reinvesting in a bicycle
