I have a double din JVC deck, and it seems like it could play everything on it, but i cant play movie videos that i saved on the card, it only MP3s.
So does anyone know if you could play videos that are saved on SD cards?

Going to need the model of it, but to be honest I sorta doubt it.

I would liken it to mobile phones where you have to abide by finnicky hardware and software which doesn't support a lot of combinations of codecs, audio/video bitrates and resolutions.

I haven't really used in car video decks to play anything other than DVDs, but I'm assuming the support for formats like divx and xvid just isn't really there or if it is, it is probably picky about the stuff mentioned above.

But again, post up the model name of it for clearer answers.

JVC Model number KW-AVX800... if it helps it plays Divx and Divx Ultra...
a person at visons told me that i have to formay the SD card, so i did but nothing still. so close to giving up on this thing...
