Most of them its no different from a rear wheel drive, except they push more.

I find you really have to push the car hard to get it to slide at all. If your AWD system is set to 50% to front and rear, you will have to push the car real hard to get it to slip. I am fortunate in the fact that my front tires ony get 45% power and the back gets the rest. That 10% difference makes it a little easier.

Did anyone catch the Car & Driver Television episode with the Super Flea Test? They had some great shots of the Evo VIII sliding through some chicanes. Great stuff

Oh yeah, the Comptech S2000 took top honors

Yeah, that was sweet. The test was a little confounded though, considering some drivers were much better than others.

No to be a dink, but isn't that only 5%?

I think he meant 55-45.

Well, yeah. Last I checked 45%/front and 55%back gives a 10% difference.

Drift an AWD? you need lots of power, guts, and speed. I haven't tried drifting on dry pavement, but in the rain it feels wicked. Can't wait 'till winter! Oh, at the time I was using worn out Blizzaks

each AWD system differs and requires different techniques...

GTR is not like a Subie at all... or EVO etc etc...
