The rarest.. This is the only Japanese Zero (this one is an A6M5) left from WW2 that still flies using it's original engine. THE ONLY ONE. It was captured in the Marshall islands and was brought to the USA to evaluate it.. It was even flown by Charles Lindburgh!

This plane was used in about 10 movies (pearl harbor, Tora Tora Tora ect..) and counting..

I've got a ton of photos from Planes of Fame in Chino California if anyone's interested.

Actually, that's one of his ministers.

Do you know how they managed to capture that plane?

Not even man, that's the Iraqi Information Minister, the guy who was constantly on TV denying that the US was anywhere near Baghdad even though bullets were flying over his head!

Heh, yeah that's the Iraqi minister of information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf AKA "Comical Ali".. he was the one who denied that the Americans were in Iraq and had been crushed, meanwhile behind him you could see Abrams tanks..lol

*edit* b17a beat me to it!

All over! We stayed in Palo Alto where my girlfriends parents live, but travelled pretty much every day. We spent about a three days in San Francisco, and went south to Santa Cruz (fun place) and Monterey (went to Laguna Seca but there was a stinkin Christian rock fest at the track and no races :( .

Went to LA area the last week we were there, it was pretty fun!!! all in all a great trip!

I know that it's out of the way but another really cool air museum is the Boeing museum in Seattle. Cool pics of the Zero. Amazing that the plane has stayed together that well considering it's made out of wood!

They're not made of wood, they have aluminum panels over aluminum skeleton..
