hey do you have any kit around 500, that are around 4600k to 5000k? I wanted something that has the white to very light blue colour. the 8000k are way too blue/purple for me. and also, i've seen on other sites, that the higher the wavelength the more expensive the kits get, why is that?

the 8000k phillips isnt blue at all, its an extremely clear white.

6000k have a bluish color, if you want white 4300k is the whitest part of the spectrum

I have 10,000K H.I.D. and they are pretty damn blue... surprisingly kick-ass for lighting up half the world when driving! lol

I recommend Philips or Acumen -- both great products -- and a steal since I sell my kits for a tad more then what's listed above. :thumbsup: :)

If its truly 10000K HID, then the lighting would be piss-poor and probably worse than a standard halogen bulb. The higher up in the color temperature that you go, the dimmer it gets. Blue lighting will also make your eyes really tired on long drives.

I put Hid's in my flip ups they work alright, but a little too bright, i get a lot of high beam flashes at me...

they are 8000 k ... by acumen.
Actually surprised at how much easier it was to install this over any other hid retro fit... acumens take approx 10 mins to set up, no wire cutting or any thing, just plug and play.

color is a bluish white... havent seen it from a distance... at some angles it looks purple

I got cwest full kit, front bumper, Front lip, rear bumper, sideskirts in stock... 725 For the ABS front bumper, fiberglass sides and rear bumper. 200 for ABS front lip(cwest).

bigboom, i'm looking for the exact same thing, more of a white rather than purple, I mean 8000k is way too blue, so i don't understand how the 10000k will light up anything. 5200 is the best, but i have heard 6000k isn't too bad.

Only what i listed is on sale, i maybe able to get a 4300 or 4600k but the price maybe steep.

Hi, I drive a 94 supra and im in the market for 2 sets of hid kits b/c i need 2 on each side and im very interested in those 8000K kits, so are they blue or purple doesen't matter if they are either or. And also are they legal? I dont want white :) And what are the difference from the Evolution HID 8000k $500 & Acumen HID 8000k $600 does one perform better or...

Ill prob need a 9005 and a 9006 of either or HID kits
