Quite possibly adding this vehicle to the garage soon. Anyone here have one or know of anyone that's got one? Impressions? What price did you manage to get?

Edit: Looking at the sedan, not the coupe.

I think they are a good bang for the buck. Considering all the luxury features and the performance numbers - 5.9 0-60 for the coupe. You're pretty much getting everything some of the more expensive coupes have at a price that's considerably less.

oops, forgot to mention it was the sedan, not the coupe...

RSeXy's dad has a red 03 Accord
If it was me, I'd probably go for the Maxima

Maxima?? My family has not ever been a fan of any Nissan product. It's almost all Toyota/Honda, so even going to an Accord is a surprise. Nissan's reliability stats have been less than impressive compared to Toyota/Honda as well - one of the major turnoffs.

I totally forgot that her family has one. I'll have to chat with you/her about it sometime.

You should also check out the Acura 3.2 TL type S. In the end it was cheaper for the TL than a V6 accord right now, because of the low rates, both finance and lease.

But the accord is a very nice car as well, but if I had the choice it would be the TL. Especially after driving it.

Lease or finance rates wouldn't be an issue since it will be bought straight out. No 60/40 split seats on the TL, so that's out of the question - although I do like the car for the most part.

Don't think of a new maxima.....personally to me the maxima has lost its 4DSC image now and is just a big boat....the 5 speed automatic with no overdrive is a killer though.....but 3.5 Altima wouldn't be bad.

Wierd day...bought the 3.2TL instead. Fold down seats was the only compromise in this vehicle. So ahoy Acura, haha. The car is so big.

Bench car buyers take notice, post and then buy. Not post and wait 10 years

my coworker has one, its just a normal car, not too great not too bad... if u r looking to mod it, well dont buy this, my coworker has been searching day and night for stuff and not a lot..... i rather go for the acura TSX... here in the states its the same price range...

There is no way the 3.2 will be modded performance wise. The most I can see is the addition of a roof rack for temporary use once and a while. Oh, and maybe an OEM style aftermarket spoiler (dealer wanted mega $$$ for it). Otherwise, modding will be reserved for my IS300 only :D

I agree, the car isn't outstanding, but it's pretty decent. The 3.2 is a cushy highway cruiser that has awesome bang for the buck, IMO. The TSX is slightly less expensive up in Canada, but the both the engine size and interior space was somewhat restrictive.
