Yes completely forgot.
Price Added.

Just wanted to add .
Albeit the fact that it is listed as a ' Gaming Computer '
You can tell it was designed to look completely Professional
under the ' hood ' type of high performance ; yet silent enough comparitavely
Small form so easily transported . ' Mini ' PC .
The only gamer vibe it gives off is when the Keyboard/Mouse are seen lighted up in the dark

Like natejj pointed out;
It is dual-core if we're speaking in those terms .

But really; the need of quad-core in tasks nowadays is really overkill .
imo it is mostly for enthusiasts who will never really use the CPU to its potential other than benchmarks
unless they use it professionally somehow

I'll agree with you to a point, for basic gaming and everyday applications, quad core is overkill... but as you can see from these benchmarks,

http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/processors/3d-studio-max-9,369.html# (scroll down to bottom and click see all products)

The quad cores, even the low end Q6600 outperforms most dualcore CPU's in games or applications. Plus, most new programs and games are going to make use of the multiple cores.

Just like back when everyone was on single cores, and then dual core came out .
At first it was overkill, but then took some time for it to catch on .
Its a ' duh ' type of answer . Common sense says over time this system will become obsolete
Just like everyones' who paid $3,000 back in the day for lil Windows 95 slow ass PCs
I'm saying is that as of now, if this PC can play top notch games that the PS3/XBOX 360 is Spitting out, its going to be some time for it to become obsolete .

the Q6600 is far from ' low end '
any Quad Core comparatively will rock a Dual Core .

P.S. Thank you for that website :
If anyone is curious .
The CPU in this rig sits at about 87 [ following link provided by natejj ]
with the Budget Q6600 sitting at 47
and the Bestest sitting at 22

Now compare those rankings with pricing .
The Top spot is held be a CPU which alone costs more $1,000 easily .
The Q6600 although an excellent card for an excellent price .
Please compare with what my budget CPU card can push for a fraction of the Cost

Enough with the discussion .
PM me with Questions/Comments and I can address them on here if necessary.
Thank You
