I'm looking for a nice place for some red lobster type seafood dinner, but not red lobster if you get what I mean. I was thinking Booker's but is there any other other recommendations?

I was gonna say Bookers but since you already have it,

Murrieta's Westcoast Bar and Grill

Catch Oyster Bar and Seafood Restaurant

Raw Bar

Boyd's Seafood Restaurant

Lots of extra salty batter, but the fish was fresh.

Globefish is kind of white man. And I say that in the least raciest way.

Wasn;t a huge fan of RAW for the money. I'd go with Catch or even some of the nicer places in town that have seafood on their menu. I think its gonna be fairly tough to get a nice piece of lobster in Calgary though.

there's a place called Pelican Pier on 14th street. Amazing seafood chowder. And they have some really sweet fish and chips. Doesn't get any whiter than fish and chips haha. Everytime my sister goes there she orders like 8 seafood chowders to go to be able to have some for a few days....it is actually that good haha.

So where is the good fish and chips??? Pelican Pier is far as hell for us S.E. people. We only go when my godson played hockey at the Y in Crowfoot hehe. So needless to say it's been about 2 months since I've been. Any of the places mentioned in the S.E.??

Ended up going to Bookers. I don't recommend the catfish as it was like eating pure salt but the rest of the food was  . Haven't been there for over a year but it was definitely the best that I've had there - other than the catfish that is.

The Chowder House downtown is pretty good.

Best bet was going to get seafood at Bookers, then dessert across the street at Cecils....
