Anybody have experience using this? Pros and Cons? Is it better than Photoshop?

nothing like photoshop at all. i only use it to import photos from my iphone to my macbook, and vice versa (i hate iphoto)

it's just a simple editor, like more so to adjust levels, saturation, contrast etc etc.

It's only good for touch ups as stated.

It is still good though. I like it quite a bit more than 1.5. Seems to run faster on my core 2 duo macbook pro.

I still don't really know how to use all the features, but I am just getting into this...I bought my XTi 2 weeks ago haha.

It is a great workflow tool, especially if you shoot RAW. I find that I only use photoshop on 1/50 images (I am not that serious of a photographer I guess) and Aperature seems to be appropriate for the other 49. It is great for archiving, sorting, adding metadata, etc. and allows you to keep your images in RAW the entire time, only exporting to compressed formats when you need to show them to someone.

All of the drawbacks of iPhoto seem to have been dealt with, and it has great dual monitor support.
