Price on 2005 WRX STI

A buddy of mine from North Dakota that lives up here but still has ND plates and registration. He wants to sell his 2005 WRX STI, it has 41,000 miles on it and is black in color. It has HKS exhaust as well as brand new summer and winter tires. He would like to know what would be a good asking price for the car, he asked me and I thought of no better place than beyond.

So what so you guys think? The Car is located here in Kelowna.

from what ive seen , 04-05 sti's still ask for the high 20's, low 30's

there is a local one for sale (2004) in the marketplace for $40,000 :dunno:

Yes it is an STI but I've seen more modded STI's for 29-35...that 2004 one is overpriced, theres 2007ish STI's going for cheaper

id say that would go for 27g's - 32 g's dude if he wants to make more money but it would take a while to sell, stick to 31-32g's but if he wants a quick sale and is willing to take a cut on profit then 27-30ish

If that is a US model, ~ 65,000 km .. then $24-27K is about right .. add 10% for Canadian model.

I would say he would be lucky to pull 24,000 right now with the market how it is on 04 and 05 Sti's. You can snag 06's for 28, 000 easy.

I own an 05 and was offered 17 from the dealer which was a slap in the face but bottom line is with the new ones being 42k you can only expect to get half of that for a model thats 3 to 4 years old.

I guess its all personal preference but all I see on the roads are the Rally blue and white STI's...hardly ever black ones

I think this one is a very insane cheap price for all the mods and how many clicks r on it....compared to the rest, this is super bargain
