Does anyone know of any good campsites in BC (not too far over the border). I'm thinking around the Golden to Radium area. Someplace with a little privacy would be nice.

Thanks!

The BC Government also has campsites in the forest districts. Here is the link for the Columbia Forest District, which covers this part of the province.

Some of the roads to these camp sites are pretty rough, and most of the sites are pretty basic, but this is how I like to get my camp on.

If you have a national park pass, I would hit up Red Streak campground right by Radium. Its an awsome spot:

Thanks, it looks good. Is it secluded at all or is it like the Banff campsites where everyone is right next to each other?

A nice campground around there is called Dry Gulch. Its about 2 kms out of radium on the highway towards Invermere. We prefer it to Redstreak because spots are a lot bigger and more private. Also its cheaper and you don't have to pay the National park fees since its just outside the park. The only downside compared to Redstreak is that it doesn't have showers.
