Bit Torrent? What happened?

So Its been a while since Ive used Bit Torrent. I usually run Azureus


I can't find anything on the tracker sites now, all of them direct me to these websites where I need a membership etc...


Has Bit Torrent Been bought out or killed? Whats going on here?

nope, you're just looking in the wrong places, all the old torrent sites are dead and have been replaced with new ones..

I suggest Utorrent for a client

and some sites i use are:
isohunt
torrentleech (invite only)
mininova

There are a bunch more, i just don't have my bookmarks on this PC.

Use http://www.torrentz.com/ to do a search of popular torrent sites. It even has the trackers you can cut and paste into uTorrent.
