Hello everyone.

Are we feeling more stress today than in the previous years?

Assess Your Stress Level (highest score is 25 points):

http://www.cmha.ca/bins/content_page.asp?cid=4-42-216

Reasons as to why one might answer "yes" to the above question are:

1. Increased construction around town (and traffic)
2. Population increases & longer wait times
3. Rising prices (food, gas, taxes)
4. School
5. Weather swings

Of course, these are just few of many, but they all make us angrier, more frustrated, etc. So how do we deal with increasing stress?

Some effective ways of reducing stress (helped me):

1. Exercise to let the anger out
2. Find a calm atmosphere (music of choice, fresh air)
3. Get 7-8 hours of sleep a night
4. Eat healthy (or try to)

If nothing works, maybe try this:

Share any effective ways you use to deal with stress; it can only help.

Thanks for looking

I got 19... Yeah things have been pretty hectic for me since I moved here in the fall for college. But now that school is done for the semester, I'm trying to do whatever I can to relax.

I got 9, though yesteday I was ready to buy a one way ticket to wherever and just take off.

One thing that I find relaxes me is to have a money tree and some baboo by my desk when I'm working. I find working from home to be more stressful than an office, so any kind of escape is a good one.

Oh, also, whenever I'm really ticked I'll load up Civ4 and nuke the hell out of some country :)

Scored 7... 2 months ago I would've been somewhere near 20 for sure!

However I act rude almost all the time, so for me it shouldn't be part of that index

I actually started doing at home spa's for people and teaching them how to relax, so that's brought mine down a lot! It's crazy what just 5-10 mins can do for a person.

with the economic developed .we will feeling more stressed
but we should enjoy our life with the the high stress
we can listen to the music or watch a film and play a basketball
and sometimes we also should to visit some good website to expand our view.for example I always to visit the www.onvn.com to realize some advanced electronics and enjoy it .
