My Wideband worked good until I unplugged it and got new exhaust. Now it sits at 14.7 and doesnt move. Anyway to reset it? It only has about 3000 km on it

I've never had that happen to any of mine (I'm on my 3rd uego), seems odd.

I'd say it's a dead sensor.

yeah tried unplugging it and plugging back in, looked at sensor and all looks fine. Only thing I can think si my kids got in my garage and dropped it or such when I had it removed.

Yeah man, I just plugged mine in for the first time this season tonight (I had all my guages out) and it was a-ok right off the start. Yours must be screwed up, I can't think of anything that would cause that. Even if your sensor was F'd it shoud still flucuate on the readout, just not accurately.:dunno:

The odd thing is, is that 14.7 is considered the stoich standard.. Which the ecu will try and maintain, but theres no way it could hold it there, and not even move .1.. I assume it stays put at 14.7 on or off the gas? You can call aem, they were good to deal with when I called them for mine.

Edit I just did some reading around, heres something to try:

1. sit in the car
2. turn the key to ON, but don't ignite the car
3. the UEGO should cycle through 2 settings and start at stoich (14.7)
4. just watch the gauge for about 30 seconds, it should start reading leaner and leaner until it finally hits " - - - ". at this point, the UEGO is reading 'free air' because there are no exhaust gases going through the sensor.

If it stays at 14.7 it points towards the wiring, I just read of guys not having it plugged in and it will stay at 14.7...(right in the back of the gauge)

tried that, the guage didnt move. It will the odd time when driving move .1 eitehr way lol. be a bad ground maybe? other than that all the wires looked good on both sides of the harness
