I am thinking of buying pioneer unit with navagation model number: AVH-P6500DVD & AVIC-80. But before I buy it i wondering if anyone knows a good place to get this stuff installed. Thanx

Just a stupid question.. have you considered a COMAND retrofit? Looks a lot more stock (cause it is) and is a great nav system.

I have considered it, but I can get the pioneer system for a lot cheaper. I can get one with dvd cd, monitor and dvd player for 2950 CAD.

Just a stupid question.. have you considered a COMAND retrofit? Looks a lot more stock (cause it is) and is a great nav system.

Ok. I thought for some reason that you'd be able to get the COMAND system for less money than that.

Nah, there the family cars, but i'm sellin rc cars for cheap! I'm just goin to be payin for the pioneer stuff

I installed mine myself 3 weeks ago. Not that hard, just like installing a deck. But it might be a lil diff being a Benz and all, more stuff to get around. I can't speak for the navi unit though, never got one.

Mercedes dealers are a good source, but call a bunch if you can't get a substantial discount on it. They can even install it.
