Anyone know or recommend local shops that can calibrate torque wrenches? How much do they typically charge? :dunno:

$60 to calibrate! Yikes, it's almost cheaper just to buy a new one from home depot (I've always liked their husky ones, stay well calibrated and done me well over the years)

Interesting, that sounds like a pretty good deal. I've been considering replacement of my current wrench with a MAC or Snap-on instead of calibrating it. Problem is you're looking at over $200 for a MAC and $300+ for a Snap-on at full retail. Is there any place you can get these at a discounted price brand new? The one I have now is the old Mastercraft Professional series (not the newer Maximum) and it only cost me around $70 on sale when I bought it 5 years ago.
