Had a great dinner at "The Place"

"The place" is a humble mom and pop pizza/steak/pasta house in Bowness.


The food was good, and the service was first class. While eating, it occurred to me that such places are increasingly disappearing in favor of franchises - and I felt priviledged to eat at one that had a very authentic feel - Complete with 70's "ship's cabin" wood themed decore.

A recommended experience.
