No big surprise.

It was only a matter of time before someone loses a Dayton rim on the highway. I cant believe those things are legal.

What makes Dayton rims so bad (I know nothing about them)?

Well first of all, Real Dayton's are pretty expensive, so a lot of people that want the same look buy cheap knock-offs, and second of all, I don't know if they've made changes to the original design of them, but the center of the rim where you would normally attach it to the car is centered and held to the rest of the rim by a series of spokes and not solid aluminum, etc... Pair that design with a company making a cheap knock-off version, your just asking for that shit to break off.
