Hello,
Can anyone tell me what Honda Civics have side impact airbags? I know they are standard on the 2006 and newer models. I'm specifically interested in 4 door sedans.
Do any older than 06 have them?
Thanks,

No, 2006 was the first year of Civics with side curtain air bags.

Thanks.
I was searching Edmunds.com and it was confusing.
Modified question:
What is the largest (physical size), most fuel efficient 4 door automatic car (used) that has side airbags under $15000CDN?
I know they are optional on alot of cars.
Requirements:
Biggest physical size (safety, too many SUVs on the road and I don't like being head level with the bumpers...2 adults and 2 kids and gear).
Side Airbags
4 cyl
Auto
30+ MPG
Reliable
I'm thinking along the lines of:
Corollas, Matrix, Vibe, Yaris, Versa, Fit, Elantra, Rondo.
Thoughts? The new 2009 Fit looks interesting. I can wait until September. But I'm also cheap. I'd love to buy used.
So far the only real contender that I can see is the 2006 Civic sedan.
Thanks,

The 2007 Fit has side air bags which should be around $15 000 if you get the dx or lx. I believe the versa has side air bags as well, and is the biggest car in its class.
Also, I think all of those cars you listed newer than 2006 should have side air bags. I don't remember many entry level cars with side air bags before 2006.
