can someone help me unlock a motorola T720g. It is currently locked to rogers, want to use it on fido. Thanks!!!!

you can't use it for fido. fido uses a sim card in their phones which makes them unique and unable to be used on other systems and vice versa

Talk about misinformed :).

The T720g is a GSM phone, if it's provider unlocked, it will work on all GSM systems (you know, the sim cards?) including Fido.

The Sim cards were made so u can easily transfer the card from phone to phone, allowing you to have different kinds of phones on 1 account.

silent rage is right. fido is gsm, and have always been as far as i am concerned. rogers provides cdma or tdma, not too sure, and gsm

bell & telus = cdma
rogers = tdma + GSM
fido = GSM

Pretty sure Rogers uses TDMA or GSM.

yea rogers uses both, they started off as tdma cuz they bought out Cantel At&t now they do both TDMA and GSM.

:dunno:my bad. that was what the guys at fido told me. besides that i'm a stereo geek, not a cell phone geek. 'preciate the heads up though, hate looking like a nooge.
