his price is not high. this is a JDM 86. have u ever tried getting a JDM imported here? its about that price if not higher. of course the rollas over here are cheaper. but they also come with alot more rust.

i don't think its that high... try to find a rolla out of Japan as clean as this for less.. with less km's too, i think you would be paying some where around 10g's and up... but thanks for the interest. oh and you said others come with more stuff??? i'm curious to know what that is.... this has an lsd, that all you need lol... ;)

I would love to buy this car from my brother, i think one it will be a collector's classic... (thats just my opinion). I own what i think is a bad ass skyline, and this little rolla still puts a bigger smile on my face when i drive it.

what is the biggest reason that these cars are worth so much?? especially compared to say an 88 supra turbo. i don't know anything about the ae86's.... i'm just curious, but it's a serious question

and what kind of engine does this have in it.. and what's the power rating???

to answer your question lets start with the basics, the car came in two different versions hatch, and coupe. the engine in this vehicle is a 16valve 4age, this particular motor is good for about 130hp to the crank. The Ae86 trueno/Levin/corolla GTS, was the last AE Chassis ever offered by toyota in the FR platform. The Vehicle is very well balanced, which makes it a super fun drift/time attack car. Light weight, not hard to get decent power numbers, makes for a fun toy. include that since drifting and intial D has added a huge want for this particular chassis, finding one in great shape, with no rust, or damage is pretty rare. why it differs from say the 88 supra is for the reasons stated above...

good price on a kick ass car.

I own one myself although its a left hand drive with a non running engine i have rode in a few rolla's and the enjoyment you get in that surpasses any high horse power car.

My buddy owns a 240 and a corolla and after upgrading his stock diff to an lsd, he no longer wants to drift with his 240 because of the feeling in the corolla is way crazier than his 240.
