Hey, just wanted to put out the word, it probably wont help, but it cant hurt... over the weekend someone decided to go in to my car (we must not have locked it) anyways, this took place in Dover, on hubalta road (near 17th ave and 52nd street SE) stolen was the following, please keep an eye out, items are:

Edit: looks like my Son's camera may have been in there too... this just keeps getting better.... this one isn't for sure yet, we have to look around the house a bit more thoroughly. But it was a Canon SD500 S/N 0651402086

Canon SD1000 Camera, only a couple months old, still mint, it was in a blue zip up case with the word canon on the outside also had a Patriot 16GB SDHC card in it (very uncommon) that i just bought 3 days ago, never even got to use it.... serial # on the camera is 5153502853

Omnitech 4.3" GPS it's an uncommon unit, they didn't take the window mount, and likely will not get it to work so i expect it's in a ditch somewhere, it wont work without a power source, so they'll porbably think it's busted and toss it.

Also, in the car, also taken was a bell phone charger (this also worked with the GPS, that's why i put it with the GPS, black car charger with a blue light, it had "bell" on the blue part, but i scrapped that off, so it's just blue, it's unique from any others like it

oakley sunglasses, not even sure if they're real oakleys, they are sporty ones that are silver with an orange o on the arms, and orange lenses, they look like this, just silver frames and orange lenses.

Sucks to hear, good for you for recording serial numbers.

Let's hope they're stupid enough to post in marketplace here.

yeah, i also reported it to CPS... i found that my credit card insurance will cover the camera and the memory card, because they were purchased on my platinum card within the past 90 days (needless to say every purchase over $50 that i make from now on will be on this card) so that's a positive... i'm just glad they didn't wreck anything, so to me i bet it's just some crack head looking for his next fix, since my in dash dvd player was not touched, and i have a flip down screen mounted to the ceiling and that was left alone too.

Also had a bunch fo tools in the trunk, i don't think they even looked there, but the trunk release is kinda hidden in this car.

yeah none of it was in sight, i just happened to forget the camera in the glovebox this time... the GPS is always in there, because it's useless if it's not in the car... but yeah, the camera should not have been there.

I just found out that my compustar remote starter has a passive locking mode that locks the car 30 seconds after the last door is closed, I'll be enabling this feature for sure.

That sucks, if you really didn't lock your car, that probably saved you from paying for a broken window/locks too!

nah i think it was just someone checking doors, we had the car beside ours looted about a month ago too, and none of the stuff was visible, i don't think they'd have broke in with hopes that maybe there was something there... it was in a condo parking lot.
