We have a 1997 Honda CRV all wheel drive. Recently we've noticed a loud noise comming from the rear end when we brake, followed by the front ABS going off (chattering). This happens randomly and the Honda Service Dept. hasen't been able to hear it. So, they don't want to touch it. We had an independant mechanic look at it and he said the brakes are OK. Any suggestions out there?
