256 and 254 are both Sundance, but more may have been added. Keep in mind that these prefixes are also used in a lot of other neighborhoods in the area.

in the old days you had to change your number if the prefix was diffrent.. but now i dont think it matters and they just sorta pick from a list of numbers that are free

Each central office is assigned a series of NXX's (second set of 3 numbers, the first set being the area code (NPA) which we fortunatly do not have to enter when making a local call like they do in Vancouver/Tornonto..) which are static to that area, Sundance is as follows:

201
254
256
873

Now of course since TELUS bought out AGT, they upgra
ded the Central Office Switches allowing for more services such as Asymetric Digital Subscriber Lines and fancy Voice Mail shit, etc.

The DMS100 and GTD 5 switches are capable of having new NXX numbers programmed into them, hense why you can move within the city now and not have to change your phone number. So...Eventually, specific communities will really have their own phone numbers anymore cause people usually kep their phone numbers when they move.

278, 225 is Bonavista, DeerRun, and other surrounding areas nearby.... 201 however is located in Shawnessy and was recently released due to large amount of building in Somerset and Bridlewood, etc.
