Parting out a laptop, Ram and CPU should be fine, if not you return the same piece and I'll give you your money back.

Was your laptop a Thinkpad by chance?

I'm interested in the wifi card.....but need to get a specific one from a Thinkpad, or else there are bios issues and I don't have the skill to hack into the bios and switch things around.
