its $399.99 for a new customer on a Month to Month contract

$549.99 is buy out for existing telus customers

of course retailers and dealers work on different levels. you can buy the phone out at retailers (staples, futureshop...etc) for $399.99

but because telus dealers have a higher cost and operate differently the cost for thier phone is going to be higher for basically the same thing

in the future, there is going to be one price for both retailers and dealers

Weird, I spoke to Telus about upgrading to a v60ci, and they quoted me the month to month price, at the Telus store in Chinook. I'm an existing Telus customer. I've never been quoted a price higher than their no contract price.

rage2, either you spoke to someone who doenst really know whats going on....or that dealer is selling to you at a loss.

i know for a fact that dealer costs are alot higher than retailer costs, so thats why the price tag for buyout is so much higher

but if you can get a month to month pricing for exisiting customers, then its a good deal, other telus stores should be quoting u the buy out price, if you mention that you are existing customer
